Below, you'll find a collection of stories to explore. Each page also includes a link to Google Docs, if you prefer reading there instead.

My goal is to eventually host the complete and finalized version of every story directly on this site. For now, however, Google Docs will remain the primary source while revisions, edits, and updates are still in progress.

Please keep in mind that everything here is a work in progress. I'm constantly refining and expanding the story while also working on several related projects. Thank you for your patience and support. I devote much of my free time to Drops of Scarlett, and I hope you'll enjoy following its journey as it continues to grow and evolve.

At the heart of Drops of Scarlett are three young women whose lives could not be more different. Each faces her own struggles and hardships, but what matters most to them is the unbreakable bond they share.

Scarlett Morgen is the owner of a small bookshop that was purchased and later abandoned by her grief-stricken mother. Although Scarlett has little interest in books herself, the spirit of her late sister, Azurie, seems to have taken up residence among the shelves. To keep her sister happy, Scarlett is willing to go to extraordinary lengths.

Riley Driscoll is a rough-around-the-edges tomboy with a fiercely loyal heart. Raised as a daddy's girl, she developed a love for hunting, hiking, and exercising her Second Amendment rights. Despite her tough exterior, Riley's greatest wish is to see her closest friends happy, safe, and thriving.

Kirsten "Kiki" Kolbeck is an accomplished zoologist despite her relatively young age. As the black sheep of a family filled with distinguished lawyers, Kiki has forged her own path through science and research. Driven by a passion for ethology and evolutionary biology, she secretly dreams of proving the existence of mythological creatures or cryptids that have somehow escaped modern scientific discovery.

Dead and Gone

Scarlett Morgen walks a delicate line, navigating a world fractured by grief and shadowed by the death of her sister. And though the presence of her two closest friends offers fleeting moments of solace, their actions sometimes cast as much mystery as light. Maybe this time things will be differnt. Maybe next time the cycle will end.

Part 1:
Luciferin

Kiki and Riley venture deep into the remote Alaskan wilderness—one driven by the pursuit of field research, the other seeking a peaceful escape from life's mounting pressures. But surrounding the tranquil stillness of Luna Lake lies a haunting history, and the harmony between them begins to crack. Despite it all, nothing will stop Kiki from finding her bioluminescent beetles, and nothing will stop Riley from keeping her safe—No matter what it takes.

Part 2:
A Second Heartbeat

Infinite choices create infinite realities, each vying for dominance. Riley finds herself caught between the brightest and darkest versions of her existence as the fabric of reality begins to unravel. Meanwhile, Kiki relentlessly pursues the truth behind the paranormal, and Scarlett juggles upgrading her store while helping Riley navigate her collapsing world.

Part 3:
Fostering Light

A brief glimpse into the past: Scarlett and Kiki manage to transform an awkward first meeting into a swiftly blossoming friendship, despite everything.

Part 4:
Noctifera

Riley and Scarlett are each determined to rebuild their lives, but soon realize that the unexplainable phenomena they've endured is now part of their reality.
Meanwhile, Kiki sinks ever deeper into the abyss of forbidden knowledge. Torn between her rising career as an ethologist and her obsession with unraveling the science behind the supernatural, she risks losing herself to the very thing she seeks to understand.
